I love this time of year, when I can feel the summer holidays are just around the corner...the clue? Eldest joyously seeking out these little beauties from my mother's garden. Joy indeed.
My garden (unlike my mother's) is desperately in need of some TLC to prevent the weeds from choking everything in sight - guess what I'm up to for a few days?! At least there's a silver lining...the ideal opportunity to go mad with the macro function!

mmm...it's not quite the same but I have got a strawberry Cornetto on the go at the moment (2 for 3quid at co'op luv...stuff the garden!)

Gardens are beautiful but sometimes they require so much work... we have a pretty big veggie patch and even though now we are harvesting like crazy, at the beginning it is always so much work!
