Following in the Footsteps of Samuel Pepys...

Diary writing homework, after Samuel Pepys, originally uploaded by fancypicnic.

Nothing from me to show you today - for several days now I've been happily sanding and peeling away in the workshop, getting more logs and tipi poles ready with the woodcutter.
I just thought I'd share with you a little bit of the colour that is in my life, in abundance! Don't you just love the way a five year old brandishes felt pens?

I love the red hair and glasses. I really wish I could keep every one of my kids pictures. Can you imagine the mess if I did?

Oh how adorable! I too love when children draw. They create without abandon or personal judgement or censure. I wish I could be so free.

Top penning there missy!

(I remember a pub quiz once, where when asked who wrote Pepys diary, someone answered Dickens...and it wasn't me before you start!)
